“It’s so much about being able to tell your story every single day”

English grad's passion for writing led to a career in fashion and lifestyle communications

Caroline Gault (’10 BA) never imagined that her degree in English and creative writing would lead to a career in fashion and lifestyle communications. This freelance writer is now Alberta Editor of FASHION Magazine and Community Manager of Poppy Barley Inc., a successful local shoe store.

Her Arts education allows her to be a storyteller every day, contributing to national and international publications while supporting the revolutionizing way fashion, tradition and technology intersect. “Communications and being able to write is so important, and has never been so important,” she says. “Especially now with social media and the internet, it’s so much about being able to tell your story every single day.”

Gault is the focus of our second alumni video, showing some of the great careers our alumni are pursuing. Check out our first video of Jason Suriano, CEO and Creative Director of Rocketfuel Productions Inc
